Conoce al Dr.. Sayles

Dr. Erik Sayles is originally from Northern New Jersey, donde recibió su licenciatura Magna Cum Laude en Biología de la Universidad Estatal de Montclair.

Dr. Sayles was accepted into dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he graduated with honors at the top of his class. Following dental school, he was accepted into the Drexel University Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency program at Hahnemann Medical Center, and Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. This program is a six-year, integrated dual degree program. During this time, he was admitted with advanced standing to the Drexel University College of Medicine, where he received his medical degree.

During his residency, Dr. Sayles completed two years of general surgery, including rotations in vascular, transplant and plastic surgery. Adicionalmente, he completed several months in the surgical/trauma Intensive Care Unit. He served as Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial during his last year of training at Hahnemann Medical Center and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

Dr. Sayles clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial trauma, office based general anesthesia and dental implant surgery.

Certificaciones y premios:

Dr. Sayles earned his Board Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2015 and is a diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is also as a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Cardiac Life Support.


Dr Sayles enjoys biking and playing piano. Dr. Sayles has also held New Jersey, New York and Connecticut state titles as well as national titles in powerlifting. He was also a silver medalist in the 1995 Junior Olympics.
