Meet Dr. Grippo
Dr. Donald R. Grippo was born and raised in Enfield, Connecticut. He attended Suffield Academy and Syracuse University. Upon graduation from college in 1965, he taught school in the Hartford, CT school system for two years. Dr. Grippo received his dental degree from Meharry Dental School in Nashville, TN in 1971. He continued his training with a one year internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Ct and a three year oral and maxillofacial residency at Cornell Medical School / The New York Hospital in New York City where Dr. Grippo received his oral and maxillofacial surgery certificate in 1975. Under the tutelage of Dr. Stanley Behrman, the Cornell Medical School / The New York Hospital program specialized in facial reconstructive surgery and saw patients seeking treatment from all over the world.
Since that time Dr. Grippo has been practicing all phases of oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Willimantic / Mansfield CT area. Dr. Grippo retired from private practice in 2010.
