Meet Dr. Hoang

Dr. Nam Hoang was born and raised in California, but has spent much of his education on the east coast. He completed his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, and was selected for educational and volunteer trips to Mexico and Nicaragua, respectively. He later went on to New Jersey to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. For his academic and extracurricular achievements, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After dental school, Dr. Hoang went to Illinois to complete an intern year in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital. He later returned to New York to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial training at New York Medical College.

Dr. Hoang is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support.

Personal:

Dr. Hoang enjoys listening to music, exploring new cultures, and trying new restaurants. He is looking forward to living in Connecticut and discovering the Nutmeg state.
